I spent my first five years out of college working in the corporate worlds of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Rubenstein Communications and RF Binder. The latter two provided me with excellent knowledge of big-brand public relations but I was drowning in year-long marketing plans and longed for a media-heavy role at a smaller firm.
At Bullfrog + Baum, I no longer needed to wait months for an idea to be approved, I could just...do it! For more than five years I pitched thousands of stories for hundreds of clients and I made a lifetime of memories over meals with chefs and coworkers. One of those clients was the Michelin-starred Sushi Nakazawa where I ultimately went to work in-house.
Working there was like a practice run for working for myself. The owners trusted me to build a roadmap for them, the original location of Sushi Nakazawa, its sister restaurant in Washington and Chumley's in New York City. I have never been prouder of the work I did in my four years there. I succeeded in almost everything I set out to do and will be forever grateful for that experience.
But now I actually do work for myself. And maybe for you - whoever you might be. I am creative, personable and thoughtful.
